An aluminum bottle is made of pure aluminum, usually 1050A or 1070A grade aluminum. The inside of the bottle is covered with a layer of special food varnish. This varnish prevents corrosion of aluminum, which could ruin our beer, as well as juices, ciders and other healthy drinks.

Most aluminum bottles are made from recycled aluminum, which is obtained from used aluminum bottles. Therefore, when you select an aluminum beer bottle from the shelf, you are also doing your part to protect the environment.

• Aluminum bottles consist of only one “alloy”, pure technical aluminum 1050A or 1070A.
• Beer cans consist of three alloys of different series:
  – the body is made of alloy 3004 (3104),
  – the lid is made of alloy 5182, and
  – the key opener is made of alloy 5042.
